Platinium We validate your installation, carry out daily checks and you have access to our helpdesk whenever you need it. This service is operated under a Service Level Agreement (SLA).


On call for INCIDENT : DBA We offer an INCIDENT support services for Microsoft's SQL Server V4.2, V6.x, V7 & 2000

How it works ? You log a call and we call you back within 1 working day
What can I ask ? Any questions you may have about Microsoft SQL Server server product.
Who is it suitable for ? DBA, Administrator, Programmers and Operation Staff
How much does it cost ? It is priced on a flat fee of £150 (excl. VAT)
What if you can't resolve the problem remotely? Only telephone support is included. You may need to provide remote access facility to our Administrators.


On call for GOLD : DBA We offer a MANAGED support service for Microsoft's SQL-Server V4.2, V6.x, V7 & 2000 and ORACLE RDBMS V7.x & V8.x:

How it works ? We will first carry out an AUDIT of your installation and produce a written report to outline our findings. If you have a problem, you log a call and we call you back within a pre-agreed time. We will also visit you site monthly to check all is running smoothly.
What can I ask ? Any questions you may have about the above products.
Who is it suitable for ? DBA, Programmers, Operation Staff and Company where it is not economical to have a permanent DBA.
How much does it cost ? It depends on the size and complexity of your installation.
What if you can't resolve the problem remotely? Telephone support and site visit are included. You will need to provide remote access facility to our DBAs.
What is different? This service is operated under a Service Level Agreement (SLA).


On call for PLATINIUM : DBA We offer a MANAGED support service for Microsoft's SQL-Server V4.2, V6.x, V7 & 2000 and ORACLE RDBMS V7.x & V8.x:

How it works ? We will first carry out an AUDIT of your installation and produce a written report to outline our findings. If you have a problem, you log a call and we call you back within a pre-agreed time. We will dial in in you site every day to carry out daily checks. We will also visit you site monthly to check all is running smoothly.
What can I ask ? Any questions you may have about the above products.
Who is it suitable for ? DBA, Programmers, Operation Staff and Company where it is not economical to have a permanent DBA.
How much does it cost ? It depends on the size and complexity of your installation.
What if you can't resolve the problem remotely? Telephone support and site visit are included. You will need to provide remote access facility to our Administrators.
What is different? This service is operated under a Service Level Agreement (SLA).


This is a short list of activities that will increase the reliability of your Database Servers:
  • Back Up all file systems on Removable Media and store the tapes in a Fire Safe,
  • Check the Server logs,
  • For Sybase/MS-SQL Server: check database & transaction log free space, check errorlog size,
  • For Oracle: check tablespace free space; table & index free space and extent growth, redo log activity, chained row analysis, next extent’ free space deficit,
  • Remove/Disable User Account of staff who have left within 24 hours,
  • Carry out integrity checks, preferably on a daily basis size permitting,
  • Optimize statistics, preferably on a daily basis size permitting,
  • Check for table/indexes that needs to be defragmented, ...
